Sandvik’s Shipped to Hong Kong

A client came to Omnia with their project specification and requested a crushing line capable of meeting their desired output. Using our expert knowledge we designed a flow chart outlining the best configuration of crushers and screens to achieve their goal: a QJ341 Jaw Crusher and a three-deck 4-way split QA451 Screener, these were to compliment the UH440i that they already had. The customer also needed a Heavy-duty Cone Crusher for another project, after looking over their details we decided on a QS441, due to its better quality cone compared to a normal Sandvik Cone Crusher.

We sourced all three machines with various end-users, as part of our service we picked up the client and his mechanic and took them to all three locations to view and inspect the units. Over the course of two days, we covered 1000 miles, travelling from Glasgow to Swansea and back to Teesside. After sorting some repair work needed and discussing shipping and delivery times, the deal was agreed for all three units.

The logistics for the deal were complicated due to the Christmas period, also one of the machines was rejected on arrival at port due to the tracks not being cleaned properly by the supplier. We have a number of companies around Southampton that can assist in cleaning or repairing any machines that are not accepted. Once this was rectified, the delivery arrived at Hong Kong via Singapore without any issues.
