Backhoe Loader

A backhoe loader is a heavy piece of equipment used for the moving of earth materials and can be fitted with a loader shovel or a front-facing bucket and rear backhoe. Their excavation is performed by a mechanical, articulated arm with two linked hydraulic booms that are connected to the back of a machine. The first section of the boom allows the arm to move vertically while the second functions as a knuckle that allows the bucket to curl in or out dependent on the buckets position. The term backhoe actually refers to arm itself, not the machine it is attached to.

Backhoe diggers are considered medium-sized examples of construction equipment, but they are often used for smaller jobs due to their ability to perform just as well in smaller spaces. At Omnia, we can supply you with high-quality products from major manufacturers of backhoe loaders, including the likes of CaterpillarJCB, Case, and Komatsu.
